Apiculture New Zealand’s Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition has been running for 3 years. Each year hundreds of beekeepers, packers, exporters and suppliers converge to discuss the latest industry trends in beekeeping.

This year’s conference “Growing Value, Sharing Knowledge” took place in June at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua and it was a monumental success, with over 900 delegates attending across the three days.

We managed a number of components for this event including delegate registration, accommodation, travel requirements, entertainment, catering, promotional material and artwork design.

This year we had two keynote speakers from the United States: Juliana Rangel Posada and Samuel Ramsey, who came to share their wisdom on the humble bee.

The Gala Dinner for 270 guests was held at Stratosfare Restaurant on the final night of conference. Guests took the Gondola up to the top of Mount Ngongotaha and were greeted with stunning views of Rotorua. There was a DJ to liven up the dancefloor and even a surprise performance from the ‘Bee Man’ himself: Samuel Ramsey. 

The conference was a huge success- over 900 delegates attended, 45 speakers came to share their knowledge and almost 100 exhibitors set up booths to engage with and share ideas with fellow industry experts.

Next year’s conference will be held at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua once more, and we’re absolutely buzzing to be able to work with Apiculture New Zealand again on another successful event.
