The Vitamin C Symposium

-

The Vitamin C Symposium was a one-day conference with separate public event on day two, held at the Auckland University of Technology. The Symposium brought together international experts working in the field of vitamin C, cancer and infectious diseases across New Zealand and abroad, to raise awareness around the role of vitamin C in cancer and infection.

The Symposium was an educational event targeted primarily at doctors and nurses to facilitate discussion around the future of Vitamin C in medicine, as well as give a platform to showcase abstracts and exhibit Vitamin C products.

We had a diverse range of clinical researchers from the USA and Europe who travelled far to speak at the conference, with specialists in their fields coming as far as Finland, The Netherlands and The United States.

The Symposium provided many opportunities for networking, including a VIP evening for all speakers the day before the conference at Four Points by Sheraton and a networking evening on the first day of the conference at AUT.

This was the second Vitamin C Symposium, the first being held in the USA in 2017. The 2019 event was a great success, with around 200 people attending the main conference day and a further 100 making it to the public event.
